Pro-Form Ltd who has a history of over 30 years in processing thermoplastic materials and are based in Hungary attended two key events in October where they presented the PREVIEW project to customers and other visitors to their stand.
The first event, held in Nuremberg, Germany was Fachpack which took place from 29th September to 1st October 2015. Fachpack is one of the largest trade fairs in the packaging industry and covers the entire scope of packaging technology. Over 43,000 visitors attended the show where they were able to learn more about the PREVIEW project.
The second event was Scanpack, held in Gothenburg, Sweden on 20th to 23rd October 2015. Customers were impressed by the cutting edge technology and the reduction in mould set up time offered by PREVIEW and the potential gains from a financial point of view.
Smithers Rapra and Smithers Pira opened its doors on 29th October for an Open Day on ‘Innovation in Plastics and Rubber’.
The event was a great success with around 35 people attending from a range of industries.
A number of briefings took place on subjects such as: ‘Innovation through collaboration’, ‘Benefits of an innovation partnership’ and ‘Future trends in plastic innovation’ and details of the PREVIEW project were included in a presentation used for one of these briefings.
A tour of the various laboratories at Smithers Rapra and Smithers Pira took place and delegates were also given the opportunity to network with other attendees and Smithers Rapra personnel over lunch.
A selection of PREVIEW dissemination material was on display which included a poster, technical flyers and postcards and the project video was also available to watch on a digital TV screen.
